The Douglas County Office of Oregon Legal Aid Services serves all of Douglas County (West Douglas County is also served by the Oregon Legal Center`s Coos Bay office). Check-in hours: Entry by phone is possible from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 15:00, except lunch from 13:00 to 14:00. The Douglas County office provides assistance in situations such as discrimination, protection from abuse, landlord`s housing/tenancy law, utilities, disability, deletions, family law, and senior issues. The Douglas County LASO office offers pro bono opportunities to current and retired lawyers. The pro bono options available range from brief consultation to accepting cases for full representation. The Extinguishment Clinic is a collaboration between the Douglas County Public Defender`s Office and the Roseburg Regional Office of Legal Aid Services in Oregon.

The clinic is designed to help eligible low-income clients in Douglas County complete court records. Volunteer lawyers meet with clients to manage the court documents required for filing.
